Last updated: January 15, 2026

1. Introduction

LuminaProxy Inc. ("LuminaProxy," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our proxy services, website, and related applications (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your email address, name, and payment information. For business accounts, we may also collect company name, VAT number, and billing address.

2.2 Usage Data

We automatically collect certain information about your use of our Services, including bandwidth consumption, connection timestamps, API request counts, and general geographic region of access (country-level only). We do not log destination URLs, browsing history, or the content of your traffic.

2.3 Technical Data

We collect device type, browser type, operating system, and IP address used to access our dashboard and website (not traffic routed through our proxies).

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve our Services
  • Process transactions and send billing notifications
  • Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security threats
  • Respond to your inquiries and provide customer support
  • Send service updates and marketing communications (with your consent)
  • Comply with legal obligations

4. Our No-Log Policy

LuminaProxy operates under a strict no-log policy for proxy traffic. We do not monitor, record, or store your browsing activity, destination websites, DNS queries, or data transmitted through our proxy servers. Connection metadata is retained only for the minimum period necessary to ensure service quality and prevent abuse (typically 24-72 hours), after which it is permanently deleted.

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:

  • Service Providers: With trusted third parties who assist in operating our Services (payment processors, cloud infrastructure, analytics)
  • Legal Requirements: When required by law, court order, or government request
  • Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets
  • Protection: To protect the rights, safety, or property of LuminaProxy, our users, or others

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including AES-256 encryption at rest, TLS 1.3 for data in transit, multi-factor authentication, and regular security audits. Our infrastructure is hosted in SOC 2 Type II certified data centers. Despite these measures, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Data Retention

We retain account information for the duration of your account plus 30 days after deletion request. Billing records are retained for 7 years as required by tax regulations. Aggregated, anonymized analytics data may be retained indefinitely. You may request deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting privacy@luminaproxy.com.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:

  • Access: Request a copy of your personal data
  • Rectification: Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Erasure: Request deletion of your personal data
  • Portability: Receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
  • Objection: Object to certain processing activities
  • Withdrawal: Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

9. International Data Transfers

LuminaProxy operates globally. Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, including Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission, for transfers of personal data outside the EEA.

10. Cookies and Tracking

We use essential cookies to maintain session state and authenticate users. We use analytics cookies (with your consent) to understand how visitors interact with our website. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings. Our Services function without non-essential cookies, though some features may be limited.

11. Children's Privacy

Our Services are not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us immediately at privacy@luminaproxy.com.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on our website and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of our Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
